This year I am getting ready to run the 2015 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! Not only and I being challenged to run 26.2 miles but also to fundraise my way into this years marathon by raising funds for a non-profit organization Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA.) "LET NO ONE SIT ON THE SIDELINES" as is their mantra GLASA is and organization that promotes and supports the health, wellness, optimal development and physical activity programs of youth, adults, and injured and disabled veterans with physical disabilities through the provision of inclusive recreational, fitness and competitive sports activities and to offer opportuities for empowerment through education leadership and training in collaboration with community-based organizations. With $0.93 of every dollar raised going directly into GLASA programs help me support the smiles that GLASA recipients get from their participation in sports.
