Dear Friends,
I have been involved and connected with Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) for a few years and have been helping them with their fundraiser the past two years. The organization does incredible work with youth and young adults with disabilities by providing wonderful opportunities to particiapte in all kinds of sports (hockey, basketball, golf, swimming, track, . . . and the list goes one). When I have met these athletes, you can tell these experiences have truly changed their lives in so many ways. As you can imagine, the equipment alone for these sports is costly as well as providing numerous scholarships to some who might not be able to afford the programs. GLASA just changes lives one athlete at a time!
This year, although I am already registered for the Chicago Marathon, I have decided to make this run with a purpose and support GLASA. I am asking if you would consider making a donation to help raise funds for such a worthy cause. Any size donation would greatly help support the youth.
