Hi!

Welcome to my Chicago Marathon 2015 fundraising page! I so appreciate you checking it out! The picture above is my wonderful sister Kelsey and me after we finished the last big run I completed which was the Rock and Roll Half Marathon, almost 2 years ago! The last time I ran, I didn't run for anything, I paid my entry and had a great time, but this time around, I really wanted to pick something I felt passionate about and use that as motivation as I continue to train for the big day. After doing some research, the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) seemed like a perfect fit. GLASA believes that a persons quality of life should never be limited by physical or visual impairment. Their mission is to remove boundaries, elevate expectations, fufill dreams, enhance self worth and empower individuals with disabilities in competitive and recreational sports.  Their motto "Let no one sit on the side lines!" really  inspired me and made me realize GLASA was the perfect organization to run(/jog/walk) for. I also recently learned 93 cents of every 1 dollar donated goes directly to GLASA athletes! Please click the link below to learn more about GLASA and feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
