Description
Who: Youth ages 5- high school graduation. The 8 1/2 foot hoop program is for beginners. The 10 foot hoop program is for players wanting to join a competitive travel team.
Eligibility: Many players are ambulatory, but have a primary physical disability such as cerebral palsy or spina bifida. These players use a sports chair to play sports, not on a daily basis.
Equipment: A limited number of sport wheelchairs are available to borrow.
Dates:
Practice on Saturdays 10/6/2018 to 3/31/19 (NO practice 11/10, 11/24, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23)
Tournaments: 11/17/2018 Synergy Tournament, 1/5-6/2019 UW Whitewater Tournament, 1/19/2019 Chicago Tournament, 2/10/2019 LWSRA Tournament
Tentative Tournaments: 2/23-24/2019 Midwest Conference Championship, 3/8-9/2019 IHSA State Tournament, 3/30-31/2019 NWBA National Tournament
Practice Time: 10:00am-12:00pm
